The Technology team is responsible for providing Gordian with a complete technical solution to successfully manage its business. The team has a wide range of technology skills, which include; Application Development, Web Development, Database Design and Network and Systems Administration. Alongside these skills, our team attend a number of financial courses and seminars, which enable us to work very closely with our user-group and often lead a variety of business projects.
The team itself is sub-divided into two main areas. Application Development and Systems Administration. Our Application Development team is responsible for the detailed design, development and maintenance of Gordian’s Real Time, Multi-Currency, Trade-Capture, Risk Management and Compliance Reporting System, known as ALEXsys. Our Systems Administration team is responsible for providing a reliable Unix, Windows and Network Platform. They are also responsible for maintaining our contingency site, a number of 3rd party software applications and for the complete development of this website.
We aim for all our work to be delivered to very high professional standards. We have a set of procedures that we operate within that document how projects are planned, developed, tested and released and a set of goals that we aim to achieve. Our working procedures are discussed with senior management and auditors to ensure that our standards are high and our product is delivered professionally and to a ‘best practice’ standard for our industry.
