Gordian Knot is an FSA regulated investment management company based in London with offices in Geneva and New York and is responsible for the day-to-day investment management of Theta Corporation, a Limited Purpose Operating Company that specialises in credit derivatives.
Gordian Knot is owned by Deutsche Bank (32%), Sarofim & Co. (8%) and the management team (60%). The members of the Gordian Board of Directors as of January 2010 are Stephen Partridge-Hicks and Nicholas J. Sossidis. Deutsche Bank has a right to appoint two Directors and Sarofim & Co. one.
